CHRISTMAS COMES BUT ONCE A YEAR
T’is the week afore Christmas, and t’concerts are done.
Rehearsals are ovver, it’s time fo some fun.
Nearly all of t’band’s goin’ – a bit of a squeeze.
They’re bahn off t’t’Savile fo pork pie and peas.
It’s begining to look alot like Christmas
For those of you who are in a ‘Turkey and Tinsel‘ mood, the band has two concerts with just a hint of Christmas:- 7th December at St. Andrew’s Church, Oakenshaw and 14th December at St. Andrew’s Church, Undercliffe.
If your name is Holly or Ivy or Carol you may like to know that a small group of band members will play at three Carol Concerts this year:- 8th December at St. Paul’s Church, Buttershaw, 18th December at St. Andrew’s Church, Undercliffe and 22nd December at St. Andrew’s Church, Oakenshaw.
