Our June appearance from ‘The Bandstand in the Lake’ has been cancelled.

Call me a cynic if you wish but: ‘Why am I not surprised?’

It is with much regret that we have to inform those who knew him, Paul Harper died recently. His death follows a long battle with cancer. Paul played cornet with West Yorkshire Brass for many years. RIP PAUL.

Friday 17th April 2020 should have been the date for the annual West Yorkshire Brass dinner at Cleckheaton Golf Club . . . . . Had it not been for the cursed virus.

So now it’s egg and chips, beans, tomatoes, two slices of bread and butter, with the odd piece of fried bread thrown in. Not forgetting the pot of tea! ‘Might have a banana to finish’. Ahh well.
